I felt it would be interesting to work within a newspaper aesthetic, framing the entire poster as an unfolded newspaper that has been doodled on and used as a bit of a coaster. This felt like a natural way to compose information as newspapers are already well-known sources of (what we hope is) reliable information. This also gave me the opportunity to experiment with various textures and elements to sell the personality, such as incorporating a crossword puzzle featuring terms used throughout the graphic.
